Adopt-A-Park

Dearborn Parks & Recreation is launching a new program where individuals and groups can “adopt” a park to care for by doing simple maintenance tasks. Work may include weeding, and picking up branches and litter. Volunteers will be provided with free t-shirts and trash bags for clean up work. Interested? Simply click here to fill out the form. 

Meals On Wheels

Michael A. Guido Theater

The theater is in need of volunteer ushers. There are plenty of perks that are part of the job! This is an opportunity to volunteer for as little as two events per month, but you can commit as much of your time as your schedule allows. Padzieski Art Gallery

Dog Park Support Committee

The Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department is seeking volunteers for its Dog Park Support Committee, which will work with the department in (1) monitoring and enforcing the rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, (2) maintaining and cleaning the facility, and (3) responding to residents’ feedback concerning the park.
