softball leagues

The Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department's organized sports opportunities for adults include the slow-pitch softball program, which -- with leagues for men, women and seniors -- is one of the largest municipally run programs in the state.

Get ready to swing for the fences with the Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department's Adult Summer Softball League! Registration begins Februaury 16 at dearbornparks.org for teams looking to join this thrilling 14-week league. With five diverse divisions available, including Coed Thursday ($600), Coed Sunday ($600), Men’s Tuesday Doubleheader ($900), Men’s Wednesday Doubleheader ($900), and Men’s Thursday Doubleheader ($900), there's a place for every team to showcase their skills. Team registration closes April 19th, and all entries must have a minimum of 10 players on their roster by April 22nd. Mark your calendars for April 28th, when the action kicks off. Please note that there will be no games scheduled on Memorial Day or July 4th, ensuring ample time for holiday celebrations.

Teams are required to pay a $18 cash fee to the umpire before each game. Don't miss out on the chance to join one of Dearborn's most exciting summer traditions. Register your team today and get ready to hit it out of the park!
