Registration

Register for Passes at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, Michigan, 48126. (313) 943-2350.

REGISTRATION HOURS:
Monday through Friday - 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday - 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sunday - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

*Summer Hours (beginning day after Memorial Day thru Labor Day) Mon-Fri 5:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.; Sat. 8am-8p; Sun. 9a-6p

  • Bring Documentation
Documentation will be required to verify your rate category. Proof of City of Dearborn residency, full-time student status, and other legal dependent status will be required. If purchasing a Youth or Senior Pass, please bring proof of age.

Documentation considered:

  • Driver's license
  • City tax return or bill
  • Current paycheck stub
  • Current utility bill
  • Car registration
  • Voter registration card
  • Rental contract or ownership papers
  • College identification card with proof of full-time status
  • IRS tax forms
  • Proof of other legal dependent status

IMPORTANT! Pass purchases require payment in full at time of registration or have the option of being billed monthly via electronic funds transfer.

PASS DESCRIPTIONS AND DEFINITIONS

YOUTH

  • Any person 4-17 years of age
  • City of Dearborn Resident
ADULT INDIVIDUAL
  • Any person 18-59 years of age and older
  • City of Dearborn Resident
SENIOR
  • Any person 60 years of age and up
  • City of Dearborn Resident

FAMILY

  • Any 2 adults, children 17 years of age and under, and full-time college students aged 20 and under all residing at the same address
  • City of Dearborn Residents

COUPLE

  • Any 2 people residing at the same address
  • City of Dearborn Residents

CORPORATE

  • Any person working in Dearborn.

Passes

ANNUAL PASS
An Annual Pass allows year-long use of the pool, gymnasium, weight/fitness equipment, walking/running track, climbing wall, some classes and programs, and locker rooms during "open use" times. Use of basketballs, volleyballs, and other athletic equipment will be free during "open use" times and a free orientation class on how to use the weight/fitness and cardiovascular equipment will also be available. Pass Option A also includes aerobics, spinning, aquacise and miscellaneous classes.

MONTHLY PASS (EFT ONLY)
Our convenient monthly pass allows you to have fees electronically deducted from your account on a month-to-month basis for as long as you would like. A monthly pass allows the use of the pool, gymnasium, weight/fitness equipment, walking/running track, climbing wall, some classes and programs, and locker rooms during "open use" times. Use of basketballs, volleyballs, and other athletic equipment will be free during "open use" times and a free orientation class on how to use the weight/fitness and cardiovascular equipment will also be available. Our EFT service is free, however, we require up to 3 months payment when you sign up. If you take advantage of our EFT service and cancel, you will be charged a $50 reinstatement fee to resign. Pass Option A also includes aerobics, spinning, aquacise and miscellaneous classes.

DAILY PASS FOR PAY-AS-YOU-GO-FUN
A daily pass allows the day's use of the pool, gymnasium, weight/fitness equipment, walking/running track, climbing wall, some classes and programs, and locker rooms during "open use" times. Use of basketballs, volleyballs, and other athletic equipment will be free during "open use" times.

SHOULD I PURCHASE A DAILY, MONTHLY OR ANNUAL PASS?
If you, as an individual, couple, or family, plan to use The Center and its programs more than two times per week, the Annual Pass may be the best deal and can offer substantial savings.

General Information

  • The Center is barrier free accessible.
  • Children under 13 years must be accompanied and chaperoned by a paying adult at all times.
  • Children under 3 years are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Lockers are available for day use only.
  • Family Locker Rooms are available.
  • Specific programs and "open use" hours are scheduled quarterly.
  • Specific areas and activities have age requirements.
  • Photo ID required.
  • Towels and locks are available for a nominal fee

Guest Passes

Non-residents are eligible to purchase "Guest Passes", available for just a day or for a week, when accompanied by a Dearborn resident or Passholder.

However, until further notice only monthly and annual passholders are permitted to bring in guests during peak hours: Monday thru Friday, 5 p.m. – Close; Saturday and Sunday, 3 p.m. – Close.


Guest Pass Rates:

  • Ages 4-12 $32/week or $11/day
  • Ages 13-59 $49/week or $11/day
  • Ages 60+ $45/week or $11/day

Patrons entering on a guest pass enjoy all the facilities under Option B.

Guest must have valid photo ID to enter. All patrons will be held responsible for the actions of their guest. Patrons will lose their privilege to bring in a guest should their guest be suspended or expelled.

Code of Contact

The Dearborn Recreation Department expects reasonable and appropriate behavior from those who visit and use facilities. The Center has established a Code of Conduct to ensure participant safety and enjoyment. Center management will take a zero tolerance stance with violators and those exhibiting criminal type behaviors. Center management reserves the right to deny admission and/or take disciplinary action against any person(s) violating our Code of Conduct or exhibiting actions deemed inappropriate. The violation of the Code of Conduct includes, but is not limited to, the use of vulgar language, disorderly conduct, public intoxication or any other act that interferes with the orderly operation of parks and recreational facilities. Any person in disagreement with the disciplinary action may appeal the decision by filing a written notice to the Recreation Director within twenty-one (21 ) days. The Recreation Commission shall hear an appeal within forty-five (45) days of receipt of a notice of intent to appeal. The Recreation Commission decision is final.
