About the Gallery
The Padzieski Art Gallery is an exciting new addition to the arts and culture of our community. It is a collaborative effort between the Dearborn Community Arts Council and the City of Dearborn. It is a public gallery coordinated with the Cultural Arts Division of the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department and the DCAC with volunteer assistance overseen by a part-time Gallery Coordinator. With the assistance of guest curators, a diverse Gallery Committee and a strong artist network, new and challenging ideas for exhibits will broaden the overall presence of the Art gallery. The Gallery Committee plans exhibitions and artists are solicited through proposals, applications, invitation and the media. The DCAC made a commitment to the original City Gallery in 1989 and through a partnership with the city was able to establish the city's first public gallery on the fourth floor of the City Hall. It has proven to be an excellent venue for local and regional artists, and artists in need of exhibition experience. For information about current and upcoming exhibitions, visit our Activities page.
